Animal Technician/RA

Duties; performing in vivo Studies using rodents. This includes: preparation of small laboratory animals for preclinical studies, body weight and tumor measurements, compound administration via oral, intraperitoneal and intravenous route of administration. These duties can be fulfilled during the probation period under supervision by the Head of the Laboratory of in vivo Pharmacology. vivoPharm will provide sufficient training before the employee will get permission to work without supervision. The duties can be extended to other work, related to efficacy studies in laboratory animals. vivoPharm expects work on weekends. The employee reports directly to the Head of Laboratory and the Study Co-ordinator or the Project Manager.

Research Assistant

Providing cell material for the department of in vivo Pharmacology, as well as maintaining cell stocks. Writing experimental methods, contribute to writing of SOPs and protocols and supporting vivoPharm's R & D program. Managing and maintaining the in vitro laboratory associated with the in vivo Pharmacology Department. Updating literature knowledge in a regular manner using libraries and vivoPharm's journal subscriptions. Reporting directly to the Head of the in vitro Pharmacology group. Performing in vitro studies using mammalian cell lines to profile development compounds (Screening) when required.
