vivoPharm offers a suite of assays designed to determine your compound's mechanism of action in vitro including:
IC50 determination: We can calculate the half maximal (50%) inhibitory concentration (IC) for your compound using high throughput assays.
Combination assays: We can test the effect of your compounds in combination with other chemotherapeutic drugs and assess the type of interaction (i.e. synergistic, additive or antagonistic) using the isobolographic method.
vivoPharm offers immunohistchemistry, detection of antigens and detection of target molecules in tumours. Our library of human tumours grown subcutaneously or orthotopically and embedded either in OCT or paraffin is ideal for many immunohistochemical studies. vivoPharm has many years of experience in optimising antigen detection in tissue sections and has systems available to detect human cells in a mouse background, which is especially of interest for metastases or leukemia models.
vivoPharm's team of specialists has extensive experience in molecular biology and protein chemistry techniques. We would be happy to discuss technical options available to tailor assays to your requirements.
